We are an independent publishing house based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. We commission, edit, and release fiction and non-fiction in print and digital editions, working directly with authors on a small, curated list.
PARDINI LIVROS E SERVICOS LTDA operates as an independent trade publisher. We were founded in February 2026 by a small team of editors who wanted to give careful, unhurried attention to a modest number of titles each year, rather than compete on volume. Our list is deliberately narrow.
Editorial work runs out of our office in Sao Paulo. Manuscripts are commissioned or acquired directly from authors, edited in-house, and released simultaneously in print and digital formats. We also manage a small backlist of reissues and standalone essay volumes, and we act as retailer for titles that we publish under our own imprint.
The house is privately held, funded by its own revenues and by the founders. We do not hold outside investment, and we do not operate on behalf of any third-party publisher, imprint, or distributor. Every title we release is signed under our own name and identified by the same legal entity that operates this website.
Six lines of work make up the catalogue. Each line is edited by a dedicated hand and released under the same imprint, without sub-brands or third-party licensing arrangements.
Novels and short story collections by first-time and mid-career authors. Contemporary voices, with a preference for prose that does not need to shout.
Reported essays, memoir, and long-form journalism. Titles that ask a reader to sit with a subject rather than skim it.
Working manuals for readers with a specific need in mind. Written by practitioners, edited to stay useful across editions.
Every title we publish is released in a digital edition alongside its print run. Distributed through the usual retailers and directly through our own storefront.
A small programme of out-of-print titles brought back into circulation with new introductions. Rights are cleared before every reissue.
A limited window each year for unsolicited manuscripts. When we take one on, we work with the author from first edit through launch.
Four operating principles shape editorial and commercial decisions. They exist to keep the house small on purpose.
Every acquisition passes through the same three-stage process: reader report, structural edit, line edit. We publish a manuscript when it is ready, not when a slot on the calendar opens.
Contracts are simple, transparent, and long-term. We are the publisher of record for every author we sign, and we hold onto backlist titles rather than letting them lapse.
Print and digital editions are planned together from the acquisition stage. Nothing sits in a drawer waiting for a format decision after the fact.
A book earns its keep for years after publication. We keep every title in print, in stock, and in circulation through active promotion, rather than treating the backlist as archive.
This website, its catalogue, and every commercial transaction executed through it are operated by PARDINI LIVROS E SERVICOS LTDA, registered in Brazil under CNPJ 65.317.478/0001-95.
The trade name shown to readers, authors, and commercial counterparts is the same as the registered legal name of the company. No franchise agreement, white-label arrangement, or third-party licence governs any part of the operation. All editorial, commercial, and administrative decisions are taken by the company under its own name.
